Welcome to Countdownn ("App"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Countdownn mobile application developed by Kinglet Apps ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
If you enable iCloud sync, your countdown data is synced securely using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. Your data is stored in your private iCloud account.
You are responsible for ensuring iCloud is enabled and properly configured on your devices. We do not store, access, or control your iCloud data. Data synchronization depends on Apple's services and your internet connection.
The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All your countdowns, notes, tags, photos, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Core Data, or in your private iCloud account if sync is enabled.

The App requests access to your device's Calendar (via Apple EventKit) to enable the calendar import feature. This access is:
The App uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming countdowns, early reminders, and completed events. Notifications are created and scheduled entirely on your device - no external push notification servers are involved.
You can control, customize, or disable notifications at any time through the App's Settings or iOS Settings → Notifications → Countdownn.
The App provides Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets in multiple sizes (Small, Medium, Large, and multi-event layouts). Widgets display countdown data stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account. No external data sources are used.
Widget refresh timing is controlled by iOS and may not update in real-time. The App requests timeline refreshes when countdown data changes.
The App allows you to select photos from your Photo Library for use as widget backgrounds. Selected photos are stored locally in the App's sandboxed storage, never uploaded to any server, and deleted when the associated countdown is removed.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, animations, and content, is the property of Kinglet Apps and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App.
You retain ownership of all content you create within the App (countdown names, notes, photos, etc.).

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kinglet Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, missed notifications, or inaccurate countdown calculations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or any other reason we deem necessary.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimer, and limitation of liability shall survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features, applicable law, or our business practices. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
